Gunmen

Originally the Cross Punisher belongs to Nicholas D. Wolfwood, a traveling priest and gunslinger. Sounds strange, eh?! But this is how he was created by Yasuhiro Nightow. And his twisted character is one reason why he's so mysterious and therefor one of the most favourite characters from the Trigun series.

The background story of Wolfwood is more detailed in the manga. I will try to write a complete history for both, the anime and the manga, in detail. I will mark the spoilers that may be included, of course.
